200 pages

I just read 200 pages in a book. It's been a while since i last read something other than chat text, articles or blogs posted on the internet. I think the last full book I read was the last harry potter one back in 2007. And something I had forgotten is just how easy it is to read. How immersed you become in the book. That for a brief period of time, that book becomes just as real and alive as the world we live in. It's fun to read :)

In other news, still feeling ill and tired, so this update gonna be pretty short. The words just don't come as easily when you're tired. And the words that does come out, you end up repeating. In fact, this is it. Be well all.

Oh btw, the book is Duma Key by Stephen king. Love his books.

  1. I like Stephen King too. I recently also re-read the first 3 Harry Potter books. I'm having trouble bringing myself to read the fourth. I like reading but I've had trouble getting back into it too. I managed to get a bit into Dracula over my holiday and now I've not picked it up since. Bah. Again, get well soon.

  3. I'm such a slow reader of fiction I can read about 80 pages a day at most. I get so into it, imagining how everything looks, visualizing how the actions play out, what the characters look like, I end up stopping every paragraph of so and thinking on what I read!

  4. Nothing better than getting completely lost in a good book.

  5. I am stuck living in a world where the only books I get to read are assigned to me. Sometimes they are ok. Most of the time they are dry and boring. Once I graduate, however, I will read just for the hell of it!

  16. The words definitely come alot slower when you are tired and worn down. But I also find that in that 'stupor' sometimes comes the most interesting ideas and posts...

  17. I find reading hard for me if the words are "big"
since English is not my first language.
